COVID-19 Commitment

This commitment must be signed by all on-campus employees of The King's College.

The Commitment

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:4, ESV)

At King’s, we believe in loving our neighbors as ourselves. As we return to campus, each member of our community must take steps to stay healthy and remain mindful of the well-being of their neighbors.

Students, staff, and faculty at The King's College take responsibility for their own health, the protection of others, and to help keep the King’s community safe from the spread of COVID-19:

1. Protect Myself

  • Wash hands often with soap and water and use hand sanitizer as available.
  • Get tested for COVID-19 between 24 and 48 hours of COVID-19 symptoms that are abnormal to one's general ongoing health condition, or when directed to by the College Emergency Phone.

2. Protect Others

  • Report to The King’s College Emergency Phone at 646-242-4411 if symptoms of COVID-19 develop that are abnormal to one's general ongoing health condition, suspect exposure to COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19.
  • Abide by required College quarantine and isolation procedures.

3. Protect My Community

  • Follow directions, campus signage, and room occupancy limits.
  • Clean and sanitize the personal spaces and shared common spaces that one uses.
  • When necessary, participate in COVID-19 testing or contact tracing to preserve the wellness of the community.

As The King’s College adapts to changing COVID-19 realities in New York City and within the King's community, students, staff, and faculty understand that possible future restrictions may be implemented to protect the health and safety of the King’s community.
